Top Twelve Music Moneymaking Artists for 2004

If you would like to put together a mixed CD using some of the songs from the top money making artists of 2004, try using CD duplication. I would hope you own the CD’s that you plan to use for CD duplication. Copying them illegally is not recommended.

Start the CD duplication mix using a few tunes from Prince’s bestselling Musicology. Prince sold 1.9 million copies of this CD so there should be more than one song you could use. Next on the CD duplication mix I would suggest some music from Madonna. She earned more money in 2004 than any other female artist. Although her newest album only sold 650,000 copies, it contains some good tunes.

Metallica has a couple of older albums that have songs you might add to your CD duplication mixed tape. The Black Album and Master of Puppets have songs worth duplicating.

Elton John is a favorite musician and you should consider some of his music for the CD duplication project. A good one is Ray Charles’ version of “Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word”.

Guess who sold 1.3 million copies of his first-ever country album in 2004? Jimmy Buffett, and License to Chill has some tracks that would be good for the CD duplication mix.

Rod Stewart did quite well in 2004 and was the sixth biggest moneymaker is the music field last year. Rod does really well with some of his vintage albums so take a look at one of them and choose some songs for your CD duplication mixed tape.

Last year Shania Twain sold more than 4 million discs. You might like a song or two from one of her albums on your CD duplication tape.

Phil Collins made quite a bit of money in 2004. Most of this cash was made on the road in concerts but Phil has several older albums that have tracks worth having on your CD duplication mixed tape.

Linkin Park had three tours last year but no new CD. They do have a nice collection called Collision Course and several of those songs are worthy of CD duplication.

Simon and Garfunkel are still popular but as they reunited in the U.S. last year they didn’t make quite the money promoters had hoped. They did really well overseas and this duo’s music would be a great addition to a CD duplication project.

Van Halen didn’t do quite as well as expected but still brought in over $30 million. They did fairly well in catalogue sales and their music still speaks to music lovers today.

“American Soldier” by Toby Keith is a fantastic song from 2004. That song helped Keith rake in over $27 million last year and would be a great choice for a CD duplication track.

There you have the top twelve music moneymaking artists for 2004. A CD duplication mix featuring these artists would be pretty cool!
